This weekend we received GREAT news. For anyone that has been following this blog for a while or who knows me personally, knows that I have been (not so patiently) waiting for March 15 because that’s the day that my hubby and I agreed to get our first puppy together.
Last night I decided to reorganize my whole kitchen. I went grocery shopping and came to the shocking realization that nothing in my kitchen was in the right place and I HAD to reorganize it. I switched up my whole pantry, cleaned out my fridge and my freezer, the whole nine yards. Afterwards, when everything was finally in its place, I still had to make dinner and I promised myself that I wouldn’t order a pizza (have I mentioned how much I LOVE pizza?). So I made this. It’s easy, it’s healthy and it’s delicious. Make it tonight.
Welcome back to another week, everyone! Remember a couple months ago when I did a post about hanging laundry baskets and I mentioned that I wasn’t crazy about them? Well, I tweaked the design a little and they are MUCH better now.
It’s Friday! Yay! This week went by really quickly for me and not just because Monday was a holiday here. Probably because it was my first week in my new position so I’ve been learning lots. It’s pretty great. You know what else is great? This lighting fixture!
Hey guys! Monday was a holiday here in Ontario (Family Day, yay!), so that’s why you wouldn’t have seen anything go up. If you happened to be on holiday too, then I hope you had a great long weekend! I wanted to share this amazing infographic that David from That Moment In and I worked on last week. I wrote the content and David did this beautiful design. A lot of hard work went into this and I’m so happy with how it looks. Also, Hayao Miyazaki is top notch and you really should watch some of these movies. Have a great day!
Five Frames features the best in cinema, showcasing five iconic images of an actor, actress, or director in their most acclaimed and famous films. These are the scenes that captured our imaginations and have endured as timeless. Come back every week as we celebrate the greatest all time movie moments.

This was the best decision I’ve made in a long time. I made the biggest pasta bake and it was so delicious that I really didn’t mind having it for dinner three nights in a row. You know what that means? That means I didn’t have to cook at all two nights this week. That’s a big deal. Not that cooking is a huge hardship but it’s nice to know that there is a well rounded homemade meal waiting for you when you get home and all you have to do is heat it up.
Hey there, all you foodies out there! Who’s hungry? This was something I threw together in ten minutes flat and the flavours were really delicious together so I decided to share it with y’all.
Remember how I’ve been working on my office? It’s kind of all I’ve been talking about lately. Well, I did all the hard stuff a couple weekends ago and have been trying to write up some posts on the projects I had done but the office was a MESS. I mean a real MESS (with all capital letters).
Hey guys! Happy Friday! If you listen to The Random Chat Show podcast you might be wondering where the post is on the terrarium. Well, apparently at this time of year it’s hard to get anything from garden stores (I went to three different ones and none had the stuff I need!) so that one might just have to wait until spring. To make it up to you, I have this lovely, delicious no-bake cheesecake recipe! Mmmm…. cheesecake….
This is a recipe that comes straight from mom and it is so incredibly simple that anyone can do it. It’s also a lighter spin on the classic cheesecake recipe so it’s perfect for summer. Serve this after a meal outside on the patio and your dinner guests are guaranteed to love it.
