It’s summer and that means that almost everything in our household gets made on the barbecue. There’s nothing better than doing 15 minutes of prep inside and then moving out to the patio and just sitting and relaxing outside while cooking up your dinner. Well, I don’t think there’s much better. It really is the little things sometimes.
Last night I decided to reorganize my whole kitchen. I went grocery shopping and came to the shocking realization that nothing in my kitchen was in the right place and I HAD to reorganize it. I switched up my whole pantry, cleaned out my fridge and my freezer, the whole nine yards. Afterwards, when everything was finally in its place, I still had to make dinner and I promised myself that I wouldn’t order a pizza (have I mentioned how much I LOVE pizza?). So I made this. It’s easy, it’s healthy and it’s delicious. Make it tonight.
Hello lovelies! I know the recipes have been a little lacking lately so today you get two for the price of one. Lucky devils. What brings about this joyous news? you may ask. Well, it’s my unwavering love for pesto. Remember when we made all that pesto and froze it into an ice cube tray? If not, check out that post here. In that post I promised to give you some ideas on how to use that pesto. Albeit, that was at the end of June and it is now November but better late than never I always say!
Good morning to all the people out there in my time zone, good afternoon, good evening and goodnight (The Truman Show, anyone?) to everyone else. I’ve got a quick post for you guys today about a company out in western Canada that my mom recently introduced me to. They’re called 2 Ladies Soupin It Up and they have some pretty great products.
The Actifry strikes again! I actually scrounged this recipe up with some things I found around the kitchen last month and LOVED it but I was in the midst of the Dining Room Set Makeover and I somehow forgot to do a post about it. Shame on me. Well, here it is! It was worth the wait, trust me.
I originally tried to load this a couple days ago while in the Dominican but, alas, the wifi was not what I wanted it to be so now you get to watch/read it today. Yahoo! I will be doing a post in a couple days about my trip (which was amazing!) so keep posted. Back to today’s post then…
Beer and chicken, what’s not to love? I’ve already done a full chicken recipe for the slow cooker but not everyone has a slow cooker, or has the time to wait at least 4 hours for their chicken to be done. Thank goodness for the oven.
I know I keep going on and on about how each and every recipe is so wonderful and blah, blah, blah, but they really are! It’s been a couple weeks since I’ve used my slow cooker, which for me is like years. I usually make at least one meal in there a week so it’s probably been feeling neglected.
As you may have guessed from some of my previous posts, I have a pizza problem. It is my number one, go-to cheat food. If I’m going to treat myself after a couple weeks of eating clean and being healthy, I dial the local pizza place. So tonight, I decided to take my beloved pizza and give it a healthy (or healthier than regular pizza) spin. The only things about this recipe that isn’t strictly healthy is the BBQ sauce and the cheese. If you have an issue with gluten, then the crust is a no-no as well but you are saving a tremendous amount of calories when you go this route. To put the cherry on top, this just happens to be delicious. I knew it would taste good but I didn’t know that it would taste this good.
When it comes to eating healthy, it doesn’t get much better than this. And it’s filling and delicious! What more could you ask for?! Pizza? Ok, let’s pretend we live in a world without pizza or I might lose my resolve on the whole healthy eating thing. Aside from pizza though, this is close to the top of the list of ultra delicious food. It’s really that good.
